If you are asking about the Knox gelatin, it can be used as a travel feed or a strenghting feed which ever you choice. Here is two ways to make it. For strength=2 ounces Knox gelatin, 4 ounces sugar and 2 cups of milk. Bring to a boil and then pour in a pan and let cool. Feed this the last four or five days of the keep. Just cut into 3/4 inch squares and add to the regular feed,. Its also used to as a travel feed instead of the regular feed when hauling on a long distance. This mixture is one box of knox gelatin, 1/2 can (small can) of pet milk and one tablespoon of sugar. Let chill in the fridge and cut into 1" cubes and give to the cocks just before leaving on the trip. If they dont eat it give it by hand. Be sure there is no feed in craw before you start.
Or
This is going to be given in place of the night of travel. Give this feed just before you box up and head out.
Take one box of knox plain gelatin and mix with 2 cups of water and 1/2 can (small can) of pet milk and one tablespoon of sugar in a boiler. Stir and bring to a boil. Pour into a pan 1" deep.
Put into refrigerator. Cut into 1" cubes and give to roosters just before you leave. If they won't eat it, hand feed it. Use this feed when traveling long distance only. They will not dry out and travel well. When traveling short distances, be sure there is no feed in craw before you start.
