the tool pusher blues were origionated by texas oil tycoon, bobbyjoe manziel sr. , hence the name tool pusher,(which was a term for an oil rig supervisor) and was a result of the crossings of the wilkens typewriters (A) and the cooke perfection (B).
(A) wilkens typewriters were origionated by judge wilkens, which were a cross containing dr.king blues, smith roundheads, and "old time" wildcat blues. it is rumered that there was some other odd ball blood mixed in there as well.
(B) mr c.c. cooke created his well known bloodline by the crossing of col. madagin's perfection greys, with the hatch of one mr. j.d. perry
this "mongeral "bloodline has a veriety of well known bloodlines for its day, which was set and fought succesfuly by the manziel family for many years, and to this day, you can still see them fight in major compititions world wide.
Roughly 1 year ago, i was reading some history of the "high creek blues" , in which was started around the "tool pusher" bloodline. i would realy recomend checking out the history of this bird on www.highcreekfowl.com
