General Cooking Supplies
Set of good cook ware, as much quality as you can afford. These will last a life time if you buy a high quality brand.
You will need these sizes of pans for your kitchen:
2,4,8,10 quarts. Other sizes are nice to have but these are essential.
__Skillets: 7, and 10 inch
__Roasting Pan with lid
__Glass baking dishes: 9x13, 8x8, and 2 round.
It is helpful to have a large 11x14 glass baking dish.
__Mixing Bowls: 2 large - 8-10 quarts, 2 medium - 2-4 qts. and 2 small - 1-2 qts. these can be stainless or glass.
__Colander
__Knives - Paring,large vegetable,butcher, bread, and a sharpener.
__Pot Holders and Trivets - 8-10
__Dish Towels - Depending on use, I recommend having enough for 4 each day, and enough to be able to skip a day's wshing if necessary.
__Cookie sheets - 2
__Muffin Tins - 2 - 12 muffin pans
__Metal bread pans - 4-6 or depends on how much bread you bake at a time.
__Pie Pans - 4
__Cake Pans - 4 if used only for cakes, 6 if used for roll pans, too.
__Pizza Pans - 2-16"
__Spatula - 1 medium size, plastic. It is helpful to have 1 large size and 1 jar size but not essential. Also one regular sized metal turning spatula and one plastic turning spatula.
__Mixing Spoons - 1 Large slotted, 1 large regular, 1 medium slotted, 1 medium regular, set of various sized wooden spoons.

__Potato Masher
__Measuring Spoons- 2 sets are recommended. One for placing in foods that are used often.

__Ladle - One for gravy one large one for soups
