burnt the macaroni

I burned the macaroni today and now my question is

How the heck do I get it out of the bottom of the darn pot??? I have tried scrubbing, soaking and letting it boil with soapy water... not in any particular order

even tried to boil it with just salt. let it boil dry.

now what. it is still there as evil as ever!!

Throw the pot out--not worth saving and you may get the burnt taste after cleaning when you cook something else.
