my chickens stole my pop corn right off the stalk.. sigh.. I just wanted to see if it would grow and they had stripped a few ears hahah.. there was the cob hanging there and it had been shucked haha and I said darn deer!! but it was the chickens.. I caught them in action!!
popcorn is a fun treat.. has the small kernals unlike feed corn and they can swallow it better... cool huh!
AND it keeps them busy getting it off the stalk and the cob huh!

You'll need to grow a separate garden for yourself and put a fence around it to keep it safe from the critters! ;D

I can't even seem to have time to build more pens for the chickens.. I got the bantams in the house at night.. and use the big girls night pen for them during the day .. outside..
I think the game roo killed the little bantam rooster.. he was dead .. sigh.. too spunky for his own good.. I got to get rid of the roosters.. if they are not gone this weekend I am going to eat them..

Really? Weeelll... home-raised chicken does taste better than store-bought. If you need to know how to prepare a chicken for... um... "the deed," just lemme know. I remember from when I did two of my own roosters. Oh wait... didn't you say before you done some of your own, too? Ok, well, never mind then! Enjoy!
(Or else, hopefully, you'll find a home for them quick!)
