what a great idea! your house is beautiful and the fence is awsome! great! those plants are sooo green and healthy. they are so happy there. I have the heatpump out back and it is in a l shaped area too. maybe I can do that to mine? thing is there is the darn electric meter box there too. AEP has to come and read the meter every month and I would have to shoot them if they squished the plants ahahahahah!! no tomatoes on those vines yet? and those are peppers! how cool. !!

thanks. the whole thing was dh's idea. he wanted to put the fence there to hide the central air units. the tomato plants are now loaded with tomato's and i ate all the peppers the other day. the mulch sounds like a good idea, but it gives the stupid chickens something to make a total mess outa.

I put gravel around my stepping stones and I swear they scratch it out too. maybe if I keep adding more they will stop? but I love them ........ most of the time hahha. put my sign up down on the road to sell most of them. can;t do it this winter. too much work and feed consumption! I nearly froze last year doing the water thing and the hose was freezing so I had to lug those waterers in the house and fill them up in the bathtub! and then back out to the coop. whew!!
anyway I started bringing in some of my plants already. have to dig up my jersulem artichokes and dry and store them to plant next year... I think that is what I am supposed to do. left them last year so this year they didn;t do very well because they were so packed in there. ..
