Back in April, I visited with my Aunt Peggy in Texas and brought back a tiny rose bush. She had gotten a cutting from a friend, who had gotten a cutting from a relative.... you know how it goes with gardeners! Anyway, the bottom line is that I don't know the name of the rose, but it is blooming now and is just georgous! I just thought I'd share it with you all!

That is beautiful and a great picture too. how did you start the first planting? I got one from a lady at the garage that used to work on my truck and she said she always plants the rose , the entire pretty rose flower, upside down in the dirt and leaves the stem sticking up . I tried it but it didn;t work for me.... could be because I said :"thank you" to her. you know the old superstition about how you are not supposed to say thank you when someone gives you a start or a plant or something right? if you say it the thing will not live

Now maybe that explains my bad luck! And to think... until now I blamed it on myself! No more of that... now I know it will actually be OK if I wait a week or two to take care of cutting........... -Queen of Procrastination Rose
